Aurigny is the Island’s local airline and is now owned by the States of Guernsey Government. It began flying between Guernsey and Alderney. (Aurigny is the Norman name for Alderney)
The Aurigny fleet currently includes the Embraer ERJ -190 pictured above, ATR 72-500’s and Britten-Norman Trislanders. One of the latter is the famous (locally) Joey, which has a special paint job and a series of Children’s Books written about him. However the Trislanders are due to be retired soon so we are waiting to hear what the replacements will be.
